More axles breaking at PF today

We had yet another axle crack at PF over the weekend. This axle only having been put in following a similar incident in Feb.

We also note that another axle broke coming away with sprocket and wheel attached bouncing into the racing line. Luckily it did not hit anyone.

We've been taking all the axles to scruitineering and I note a large collection forming above the office.

At the last meeting I had a word with Nigel Edwards and asked whether anything was going to be done about the kerbs. I was told there were no plans as they were CIK specification but they were taking note of incidents.

Whether they are or not I believe that they are the cause of the breaks and I think the club / MSA must take more notice of our concerns. If we had a drivers group then I'm sure this would have been taken up in a more formal manner. I therefore urge anyone who has a concern about the safety aspect of these curbs write to the club and the MSA. I will be doing so myself this week.

I believe we need to take action before someone is injured.
