Two replies and already confusion.

With the quality of modern oils, probably any oil you can buy will be okay. But it should be pointed out that Rotax recommend fully synthetic.

It is not necessarily the case that adding more oil will 'help things last better'. What it will do is make the engine run leaner and you will have to jet accordingly.
