Seems like a stupid question I know but I needed to get your attention...
I am aware that Rotax 'retooled' for their 2009 Max engine making them significantly better than previous years but I would like to know what is classed as 2009 - is it an engine manufactured in 2008 ready for the 2009 season? Or is it an engine that was actually made in 2009 and will therefore have 09 on the markings on the barrel?
Any info greatly appreciated
