we still have a few tengths to make up driving first - however I know of others that run and win races use the same method and find little difference in floats and needle position. Floats probably are to do more with track smoothness etc??. The big thing we find are tyres and pressures for time followed by gearing then jetting. Others will probably disagree but it's what we found. We don't change axles either as we race for fun not to turn the weekend into a total chore!
