My son and I enjoy running in the cadet class and I can understand your frustrations however, you dont want us to mention some of the obvious JTKM, super cadet.........you did not mention MiniMax?
Although you may feel discriminated against, I would have thought you should be looking at the advantages of a mature experienced head with little weight can only be seen as an advantage to your sons driving/competing. Situations like this are dealt with by lead, I dont understand why you dont quite simply migrate through the defined path, up wards and onwards to the more powerful classes, are you looking for the MSA to make a special opertunity. Is it not the age issue that difines the 'stop cadets' and move up time? I have the horrible feeling I must be missing something here?
