Hohoho... just another reason which backs up my desicion to stop msa racing! "your helmet doesnt comply for next year sir" (But i can still use it for road racing) "your clutch cannot be repaired if a pin snaps sir" (but a new one costs circa Ł130+vat! (before the new clutches were even introduced) "Your side pods dont comply"... "you need a medical again to prove your fit to race with us"..."You need to change your airbox now"....the list just grows.
I switched clubs and started non msa and started to race with like minded people. Hell we even had i think 22 heavies on the grid at one meeting. Loads of different chassis's some even looking like they were dredged up from a river they had that much rust on the exhausts. ALL karts passed the same scruiteneering examination that they would have done for MSA racing (by the same scruits come to think of it)!
You can tell at this point that i still race with all these things 2yrs on.....Just non msa.
No politics.....just good fun which is what i race for!!!
