Why do jag stick with the seal?
If the seal was removed and machining allowed would this not make for a more even playing field?
I am not a father who is looking for an excuse as to why my son is slower than other drivers, i know he has more time in him than an engine can bring at the moment.
I am just interested to hear peoples views on the subject and the argument from both sides.
I am more than capable of changing a piston myself and the fact the ports could be machined to a spec by any decent engine tuner leads me to ask "why the seal is needed"?
