07 barrel engines are said to be amoung the best to have. The general consensus that ive heard is that the cnc barrels have better bottom end than the 07's but the 07's have better top end. i have an 09 and an 07 there definitely is something in that but its very marginal. out of the 2 i do prefer the 09 though as it seems to deliver the lap times slightly easier...possibly because of a slightyly better bottom end im not sure. I definitely dont think there is alot of difference between engines these days in terms of overall power, maybe a tenth a lap depending on which circuit you are at and the charicteristics of each engine. I have heard people who are winning alot say their engine is very 'easy' to drive and forgiving when they make mistakes. shame you cant afford that 10 you tried ;-). Ive found tyres make far more difference this season than engines or the way im driving! i really hope the mojos are more consistant for all!
