Check your rules as to what you can run. Some allow the old version and the new as far as float and tubes go but can not combine from either. Just one or the other.Also a 8.5 or 12.5 venturi and also a good carb or average !Performance comes to tuning the carb and setup of it as well,gearing,setup of kart,driver style,how the engine is built in setup and how long you run pistons etc.
Fuel pumps do need kits as they can get lazy and not pump enough fuel as well !
