The timecode clock has been removed, although I did notice a couple of times when the programme froze and then the screen goes black for a few seconds before restarting in part 1 (never had time to watch the rest as I'm editing Clay, but recorded it and will check later).
Having spoken to the PC at Motors TV, he says they have had similar issues in other programmes and are looking into it. They noticed the timecode clock issue during the first programme but could only change it for the 3am broadcast.
As for JamboH's comments, which are mostly (all) negative, thanks for the advice about the Digibeta tape.... I'm already planning to do that for the current programme to see if it makes a difference, but I'm not holding my breath. As for taking responsibility for my own work and failings, I've been the first to hold my hands up if it's me or my crew's work that's caused the poblem, but quite how I can be responsible when Motors TV add a timecode clock to the image, or run both a UK and international soundtrack at the same time, when it should only be the UK track, goodness only knows.
I've developed a clever (if I say so myself) magazine cover graphic that's being used in the Clay TKM programme though.... watch out for the graphic featuring Joe Porter on the cover JamboH.... I think this may be something you actually like! We did have a laugh doing it.... May have to post the graphic feature on You tube later...
Thanks for the messages of support... I feel like a chocolate man swimming in hot water sometimes!
