I've no experience with your chassis but from what I've seen so far the 30mm/ 50mm thing doesn't really make a difference. There are still guys running at the front on 30mm axles. Sidewinders and JKH's seem to still be good. Tonykart vipers have all but disappeared (too soft I think).

Everybody seems to be going stiffer. The seat stays are on almost every kart. The problem with the new tyres is they have loads of front grip, the karts are now cornering much faster and it's hard to stop the kart hopping. Seat stays help in this regard. Get the rear as wide as it will go. Drop the front of the kart down to start with, anything to settle it. A lot of welded in front torsion bars are appearing too if your chassis will accomodate one. Don't know if it is possible to change rear ride height but that's another option to consider (or drop the seat?).

And pad the hell out of your seat. I've bashed the living hell out of my ribs this year.

Other than that, you should love the new tyres! I bought a new set 4 meetings in and there is still little difference back to back with the old set. 6th meeting on the old set tomorrow.

Some chassis seem to 'consume' the rubber quicker than others but it seems to have little effect on grip. There are several sets on karts with the dimples gone and still going strong.
