Voltage should read 13.9-14 volts and just off the charger some will be 14.65v then settle down to high 12 plus volts.Below 12.5 volts and the ignition will start to play games.Also if your battery does not bounce back after starting some will be 11 volts or just 12 volts.The ignition will start doing things at below 12.5.Also do not crank the engine over lots to prime fuel as this drains the battery use a little bit of breath to pressure the fuel through from the tank.Just blow in the relief line.
