and just for the benefit of the "tape"...
I also disagree with crash dieting to make a weight for the kids, and would certainly never entertain the idea. I was really trying to say that the rules try to cope with a wide variance of child/height/weight and that it is up to the individual competitor (and their guardians as appropriate) to decide on the band that they healthily fit into. I was just using BMI as a widely accepted "rule of thumb", I realise it doesn't fit everyone...
