You set the carb in exactly the same way as you do the Blue Top engine, obviously each driver has a slightly different setting but you set them up in the same way. The basic setting is around 1.25 to 1.5 on the main jet and 1 to 1.25 on the slow jet.

The tolerance on the carb will allow a heavy driver to find settings within those limits, it's not as if your fuel consumption is markedly more....you don't need a tanker behind you on track.

The Green top has mor torque at the low end to compensate out of the corners, I race with a heavy driver who uses an extra tooth on his gearing, I am on the edge of heavy and use a blue top engine with the 'standard' gearing. On the other hand, Craig Copeland only one weight lighter uses up to three teeth less than me, so it's more down to how you drive than anything else.

If you are going to stay as a Topweight driver, go for the Green engine. I am right in the middle and carry 5kg of ballast to make Topweight, if I lose a couple of kilos, I am on a grey restrictor, so I keep the standard engine rather than the Maxi.
