I am in the process of weighing up the kart with lead. I also want to save wasting fuel ie the fuel left in the tank after meetings. A few people use fuel to weigh down the kart but i want to use the lead.
What would you say would be a safe (smallest) amount of fuel to be left in the tank at the finish of a race? 1 inch? 2 inch etc? Im using a rotax max snr if thatr makes any difference.

Also i think i will need to add about 8kg of lead. Is this an ok amount to fit to a seat? Is this best placed on the back of the seat or would it be better placed the left side of the seat? Im also going to move the battery to the left to help with the balance.
