Looking a diagram 10 of the blue book page 369 (2010 edit) and reading all the points under 16.6 (page 358) i can see no reason we cant make the floor tray extend under the tubes. That is even what they show as a example of a legal floor in the MSA’s own book! It would require some spacers under the chassis lugs to work, plus the hassle of getting the floors made. The first person to do it for Tony derived chassis would sell a fair few unless somebody comes up with a better alternative.
