Hi Liam,

I used to race TKM as a 1 man band.
I had a clutched engine which I used to start myself and then get in.

If you have to ask for help starting, you tend to get more willing volunteers to press the button on the starter (clutched engine)than to give you a push (direct drive).

Obvious advice - go to the next meeting at Hooton and ask lots of questions of the TKM guys.
