Top quality reasoning.

As any disagreement isn't worth listening to, I wont disagree.

However because the one thing you have learned is don't dismiss anything try it all. Here are some suggestions for you to test this season.
Chocolate coated wheels. Rubber steering wheel. Painting your chassis tartan. Fitting your seat upside down.

These all sound unlikely to help, but working on your logic dismissing them would make you truly stupid and not worth talking to.
