Has anyone had any experience of hiring a max engine? I'm trying to decide whether to buy a new engine or hire for the super1 rounds this year.
If you hired, did the engine provide all the power you ever dreamed of, or was it just as good as the rest?
Cost wise, hiring could put you out the price of an engine, but where's the point in paying for an engine if its going to be down on performance from a hired one?

Thoughts and wisdom appreciated.....
