I work at a local karting circuit were i run a solo jica chasis with a IAME Reedjet 100cc direct drive. I also have a 100cc reed valve italsistem.

(Old air cooled ica motors that fly!.)

Well i am going to have to sell it all up as the owner won't let me run it on his circuit because its too 'loud'.

I have tried pretty much everything to quiten the thing down. I have used silencer's of rotax max's, put rubber inbetween the fins and played about with wadding here there and every were. Still not to beat the sound meter !

So i think i'm going to have to go four stroke like everyone else at the circuit. There are a few GX390 engines which are rather impressive. I don't however want to run a 390 as its just following the crowd and i fancy a Biland.

So i want your opinions on this biland engine, are they as quick as people make out ?

Also i'm just after the engine and not a chassis if i can help it, as i already have a spare chassis that an engine can go straight on.

Lastly were is the best place to buy one from, there are none on ebay. I dont need one thats won races all over the place as i'll only be using it for fun.

So weres the best place and how much can i be expecting to pay ??
