Obviously the new TKM tyres are an unknown, but on the old ones I agree with Tony; after 3 race days (from new) even a newbie like me can feel them starting to go off.

The best value is to try to buy used tyres off someone running at the front; they'll use them for one race day then sell them on, so you can potentially get 2 meetings out of a Ł20 set of used tyres.
