I have just got some new Unico bodywork and side pod bars to replace some older (different style bodywork and bars) bodywork on my Italcorse Rotax Max. When I fit the bodywork and bars unaltered I need to have the rear wheels hubs (medium length) much further out on the axle to ensure that the wheels protrude slightly from the bodywork. Ideally I need to chop an inch or so off the bars to bring the bodywork in slightly but would this then affect the bodywork being approved incase I want to race the kart in the future?
