I guess you have the wiring loom with the spade connectors, and the new battery has a small nut and bolt fixing.

Easy fix - you can prise open the spade connectors and remove all plastic and the metal tags to expose the wiring. You could just cut them off if you have enough slack on the cables.

You can buy small ring crimps from any motor accessory store, or online - say from Maplin.

You can crimp them on with a crimp tool, or jst compress them with a good set of pliers and a strong grip. Put a small drop of grease on the terminals once you have finsihed.
