I know that there was allot of unhappy Junior Blue drivers at the weekend due to the impact that the new restrictor changes have made. However some things that you need to know that has come from Ron Shone. First of all the change to the restrictors came as an instruction from the MSA in order to slow the class down, not from Ron. He was forced to make these restrictor changes and given very little time to do it. Therefore this is his first attempt to equate the right restrictor sizes and weights so it provides equal performance on the track.
Although this may not be quite right at the moment and requires some fine fine tuning, Ron will be doing everything he can to equate each restrictor size and weight so the class is back on a level playing field as it was previously.
