i have recently picked up an iame parilla 100cc air cooled reed valve. i am going to bolt it onto my solo chasis to replace my vortex 100cc air cooled motor, which was clutched as it was a jica and had a walbro carb.
the parilla i am putting on is direct drive and has a tilly carb. what class was this parilla engine intended for, and will it be quicker than the jica engine.
the only visible difference between the two is the vortex carb is bolted to the barrel, and the parilla carb is bolted to the crank.
