hello

last weekend when racing i noticed that a couple or max karters wired their rotax differently than what i thought was normal. what differed was that on the 2 earthing leads, one was connected to the engine gear cover but the second was connected to the negative terminal on the battery.

what i was wondering was, could someone explain why they would do this and is there a performace advantage, or reliability advantage.

many thanks

adrian
