As i understand it , the MSA have asked the NKRA that the proposed/planned changes for 2010 be implimented sooner in JB ie 1/9/09, purely to peg the kap times back slightly (bear in mind this is an 11yr upwards class), in light of concerns raised at wskc.

Those who are involved in Blue will know that the weights and restrictors have been changed each year to seek out the balance and give everyone a fair crack of the whip at not carrying any lead.

So the class is not being ruined these changes were coming anyway for 2010, just been brought forward.
