Rotax Senior - Top end power issue

We were racing at the weekend and the engine developed a 'popping' and loss of power above 11,500 revs after 85 laps.

We have eliminated the following:
Battery
Spark Plug
Fuel
Fuel filters
Carb float (split/cracked) and float height
Main Jet and Emulsion Jet blockage
Inlet Valve (sticking)

It seems to be leaning to an electrical issue but is there a way of testing the coil and the loom without paying Ł250 for a replacement?

I would really appreciate any assistance as it is REALLY annoying!
