The easykart has been restricted to ensure that it is just slower than the comer w60 - same as for wtp and honda.
Although the easykarts look slightly faster than comer at Teeside you have to take into consideration that there were four easykarts in a train for the whole 18 laps whereas when Luks Barker won the following week he seems to have been out by himself as he won by 10 seconds.
If you look at lap records around the country there are some tracks where either honda or wtp are faster than comers.
The easykart uses Vega tyres which tend to have better grip when cold and so may appear faster at certain times of the year.
