Charlies dad here. OK we were bitterly disappointed at what happened last week. All I can say is that I did everything I could to ensure we were able to compete but were given the wrong advice which only came to light after the second heat. I know this wasn't intentional but it seemed that we were getting the blame for it. I emailed the MSA on Monday. Got a reply on Thursday saying it was being looked into and they were awaiting the report from the officials at the track. We would love to continue at Hooton subject to the matter being resolved amicably and put behind us all.
