Their complaint is against junior classes where you can start to race at age 11 which according to the Gold book is TKM, Minimamx and Blue.
For KF3 the minimum age is 12 but you must have held a national A licence for 12 months - otherwise it is from 13th birthday. Junior rotax is from 13th birthday.
With TKM you do have the option of moving to Extreme at age 13 wheras the other classes with a start age of 11 just go straight through to end of year in which you are 17.
Maybe they also feel that this is too wide an age spread and potentially a lot of lead on the kart of someone at the bottom of the age range.
