I'm sure there are people in the South who feel the same about S1 adding a round at Nutts Corner this year. I booked ferries for a friend and for their race truck it cost £104 for the Genk trip but £340 for Ireland (both using the arranged promotional codes) They live near Cambridge and fuel seems to work about roughly the same going down to dover and then to genk compared to driving to Stranraer. As others have said, Genk is a great track - very good bar/restaurant with a big balcony where you can view the whole track. The electric hook-ups cut out all the generator noise so the kids can get to sleep early. A couple of years ago they had a mechanics race and the local fire brigade turned out and had their hose going over the fence to soak the track and drivers as they went round. If the general feeling is that there should only be UK based races then I'm sure carolynn would take note of that - I have a feeling that a three year deal was arranged with Genk and this is year three.
