It doesnt state hot or cold on the fiche but if its slightly under 1.0 mm when its hot the scrutineers allow it to cool and re-check it, as it cools the gap should increase slightly.
Get yourself a roll of solder (2.2 to 2.4mm) and a digital vernier (machine mart do cheap ones) so you can check it every so often youself, you can also check the Carb insulator, exhaust stub etc and make sure you dont get caught out with anything else.
