they dont award points too every driver only for top seven and consistancy as richy has stated. it wouldnt be a very good championship if you keep on collecting points for cr.p driving.

now i think you might be misunderstanding what im saying or you may not. im not suggesting that visitors "get" points thats crazy when we have paid to be in a club, merely that we dont get "given" points.

i cant see whats hard to understand if you have one class racing half members and half non, (but all the same class) if you cant beat them, why should you be awarded place points? we get points for heats and final so as richy has said its about consistancy.your always going to get visiting drivers infact we have had them most rounds so saying that they wont always be a factor is not the case.
but thanks for everyones input, its interesting to see how its done elsewhere and other clubs also adopt this method. hhmmmmmm? the mind boggles!
