I have not been copied into all the emails so I apologise if I am not aware of all the facts. I hope your son makes a full recovery from his injuries and will return to racing soon.
We have ben supplying this type of nose cone for 3 years and this is the first time that a suspected problem has been reported to us.
As safety for our younger drivers is an obvious concern we are looking into this matter. I will also speak to our suppliers to see if there have been any safety issues raised, as I know this nose cone is used worldwide.
Providing this nose cone is still retaining its original shape I have seen no evidence in the last 3 years to suggest that the Storm nose cone provides a lesser level of impact absorbing load or a greater level of ramping effect than any other Cadet nose available today.
Once again I hope your son makes a speedy recovery and I will investigate this matter further.
