FACT.today at 9.30 am.
In conversation with John Ryan of the MSA technical section they are in receipt of TWO e-mails regarding the alledged cause of some recent accidents being due to the Shovel /launch ramp effect of the ZIP Bumper, sorry nosecone.
TWO e-mails is all they say they have receipt of,1 from Scotland and 1 from England. They require more evidence i.e Stewards reports,video/still evidence etc.in order to further their enquiries, they need FACTUAL evidence not heresay or opinion.. They do not look at forum threads.
Thay have requested a front nosecone from Zip,but "have not yet received it as Grant is away in Europe and they haven't had a reply from Martin",sounds familiar (TRYON fiasco).
He also said a directive had gone out to Scrutineers that from this weekend damaged nosecones must be replaced,as they were led to believe these incidents involve damaged nosecones !!!! I have just spoken to 3 local scrutineers 2 of which are top grade scrutineers, and they are not in receipt of this information !!!! even as late at this mornings post, tomorrow will in some cases be too late for some travelling scruts.
Down to you guys now,no need for petitions, marches on MSA H.Q.just e-mail:-
john.ryan@msauk.org, or technical@msa.org, he awaits your imput.
Cheers
