This is lifted from the ABKC News 2007.
Next it was noted that Mick Barrett is setting up a new association for teams and drivers. It was said that support in the paddock for this is almost unanimous although one delegate said he hoped it would not just be restricted to representation in the big championships. The ABkC has always said it would provide a place at the steering group for any bona-fide drivers association.
Just out of curiosity, after all this time, how many of you have used it or even knew of it?
The line 'It was said that support in the paddock for this is almost unanimous' can't possibly be true.
Nobody at HKC was ever asked and I question what other club members were asked because I can't seem to find any.
I certainly can't get 'unanimous support' for one, it's worse that a Labour turn out to vote in Broxbourne, (staunch Conservatives forever).
I've probably grossly misinterpreted it and it is for big 'teams and drivers', a bit like Strawberry, not 'ordinary' teams OR drivers, which makes a huge difference to its relevance to you Mr Joe Bloggs.

Anyone get a reply from the MSA regarding the nose cones on Cadets?
