I am puzzled by your problem.

You say the motor turns over on the starter,

You say that there is a spark at the engine, (several, not just one then nothing). If that is so then your power box is working. Have you tried using a transparent plug such as used to be sold to set mixture to check that the spark exists when the plug is in the engine?

If there is only one spark then nothing, it's a broken ignition cable.

Have you checked that fuel is getting to the plug. ie does it get wet with fuel? If not, does the fuel suck into the carburettor? (Does teh air bubble in the fuel pipe move when you first turn the engine over.

Have you actually got compression? Have you pressure tested the carb.

If you have compression, and a spark, then spray easy start into the cylinder through the plug, then try it. It should fire and run for several strokes.

Essentially, if you have a regular spark at the cylinder and the engine turns over, then it can only be a fuel or mixture problem. All the power box does is pulse the 12V to the coil, there is no mapping chip altering the timing to fail as far as I know.
