at the weekend i was racing my jnr tkm and my engine was about 1500rpm down and the engine was sounding very flat, i tryed 3 differant carbs and changed the gearing but this did not make any differance. Where the pulse pipe goes onto the engine there was lots of black gundge, also when i got home i had a look over the engine and the crank was moving side to side about 2mm each way, is this normal or would this be the cause of the under reving ?
