Hi everyone, just a quick newbie question!

I have recently bought a used rolling chassis (01 Deavinson) and stripped it down to get it resprayed, when I took all the bits off I noticed that the bars the seat attaches to were to one side of the bars the steering wheel goes onto, is this normal? I have looked at a friend chassis and his seems to be central.

I'm worried I have paid for the respray and the chassis is no good!
