I finished last in every race because I have to start at the back - i'm a novice.
You're correct, I cannot compete at the moment as I have trouble setting up the chassis, my last set of tyres were 2nd hand S1 tyres so I thought i'd treat myself to a new set, the wonders of credit card, I worry about the bill later.

My problem is cost, if you want to get some personal details about why i'm on here (i take it you mean this thread in particular), if we take Chris34's comments about there being 2 groups i'm in the group that cannot afford to have tyres at every meeting, I have a 100% mortgage and I earn less than Ł20k per year, I support a daughter who is 1 years old next week so excuse me if I am not privelidged enough to afford new tyres.
The reason I comment is that if the tyres need changing (if, i'm only speculating - no one here has given any facts yet) every race then I cannot afford to compete - yes I finish at the back alot, I had a chain failure in the 2nd heat, then an engine failure in the pre final so yes I was last - i'm impressed at your intuitiveness to go looking.

All i'm trying to do is improve, bit by bit - I don't have access to a teams experience so I learn myself with the help of some good friends.

Buzzy, now I have given some details, please can you give me some about you? Age, marital status, renting/mortgage/living with mummy and daddy, and how do you pay for your racing?
How did you become so good at what you do? I'm interested to know, i'd love to be able to compete one day.

I like this forum but I have never come across so many snobs than in this thread alone, how dare someone say my opinion is not valid as I have not raced for long enough.
