Defo set the minimum lap. But also at alot of tracks the strips are damaged and you have to drive over them in the right place, I have no idea what they're like where you race, but if you still have problems try hitting them at a different place (usually the racing line is fine, mine usually doesnt record if im overtaking someone over the strip)
