i hate to dispel your theory but we did it last year when we turned up for one of the rounds that clashed with the nkra so thats a load of twaddle and can be done! lol

my point is that it isnt doing much to attract drivers that may turn up to do a big one off meeting to win a nice trophy, i.e gold cup will have big grids with many that will only be at wigan for that one meeting during the year and not return for any other meeting during the season as its a big meeting with good pots. a lot of drivers simply wont bother entering if they have to fork out a membership fee as well just to get the trophy they have won, which is a shame because it will mean the grids wont be as big as they should be for a meeting like this.
