Matt has a great point - check the powervalve - but i'm not talking about how much wound in or out it is but the length of the blade to back nipple. This should be 74.5mm if it's less then that then it won't kick in properly.

Had similar problem 2 weeks ago at Rissi, and having gone through all the other bits - carb, battery, spark plug, fuel filter etc - checked the valve and that sorted it!
