Ok then 50 quid a trophy. that's not the point. The point is that for most karting should be for fun and relaxation and if you get a trophy fine. There is no fun in turning up on the dummy grid with your kart in no state to race and subsequently potentially unsafe after it has been hurriedly but back together. It's a pointless execise. If someone wants to put grease on the clutch they will (Is it cheating?). Just have a spare drum in the bottom of the tool box with the appropriate amount of grease and slip that one on.

Which leads me to my a another point. Presumably some teams have spent many hours testing to arrive at the correct quantity for optimum performance. Anyone going to spill the beans?
