I think this is a fundamental problem with rolling starts! At Kimbolton or in fact alost anywhere where you have 20 or more karts barreling into the first corner and everyone wanting the best positin the guys on the inside dont want to let anyone in from the outside the guys on the outside trying to squeeze the guys on the inside.
Whats wrong with standing starts where the pole sitter has an advantage and the guy in 2nd hasnt got the disadvantage of being on the outside as he has half a chance of getting in on time. It would certainly stop a lot of 1st corner carnage
