we had a similar experiance at another track yesterday, we were on pole for one of the heats, got off to a great start made it around the first and second corner but the race was stopped due to a crash, on the second attempt my lad was used as a brake on the second corner and shunted of to the back. there are marshals on this corner but NO warning flag came out! it pi@@es me off that you get the big speach at drivers briefing that contact "WILL NOT BE TOLLERATED" haha what a load of boll.ocks! it happens at all tracks(fact!) the problem is that all te marshals and stweards dont have the balls to enforce what they preach! unless you get your wallet out ( which is a total waste of time, as you know nothing is ever seen!)

i always tell my lad that you shouldnt bump another driver, if you cant get past cleanly then you dont deserve to get past, id rather my lad pass due to skill, than lack of!
im not saying that contact doesnt happen as when you approach a novice who suddenly breaks infront of you than sometimes it happens but this is more about the better drivers who are repeatably shunting from behind going into corners to push you out of the way and slow themselves down.
