i made my own adapter out of a 17mm bolt, try to find a bolt with a deep head, (i used a car wheel bolt) and drill it out with a 8mm drill bit, the hole size needs to be 8mm wide x 12mm long and at least 5mm deep.
then you put two 17mm nuts on the threaded part of the bolt and tighten them up so they cant spin.
then put it into a 17mm socket.

i hope you understand this i'm not to good at explaining things.
