Some facts:
Greasing is legal, modifying clutches is not. From now on the scrutineers must be vigilant (please) for teams (yes teams) machining down the male shoes and machining out the drum. Also there is now informed talk... sad I know... that some teams are spot welding/gluing the backs of the new-style shoes to make them later to open. But heh, with the old drums at least one team (and they know who they are) was making their own 'special' clutch drums from scratch. Fact.
And well done to the guy in the previous thread who hit on tyre treatments... sniffers should be re-introduced urgently (please) for random checks at all national series meetings. People are trying it on again already. Fact.
I know this is anonymous, but to the gripers, surely the reasons are obvious. Be reasonable.
