easiest way i find to relocate the springs is to put one end in the shoe and use an old throttle cabel or similar and loop through the other end of spring.....wind said cable around hand and pull to stretch the spring whilst keeping the spring as close as possible to the hole. when under enough tension simply push spring end into hole with a flat screwdriver blade etc...jobs a good un as they say!
